Thank you for visiting Hall-Dales Standards Based Education website. This website will work to educate the community about standards based education, and keep everyone informed. School representatives, parents, and students will hold a community meeting in each district within RSU2 in October. We want to hear from you the strengths and needs of our schools. -What do you think we are doing well? -What do you think we need to improve upon? -Are our graduates ready for their future? -What does data tell us about our students’ learning? -What suggestions do you have to share? -What is standards-based education and why is it beneficial to students’ learning? We need you to help us improve our schools for all our students! Please join us for an evening full of interesting discussions. Day care will be available at each site. News: On
December 13-16, the Reinventing Schools Coalition will provide
Advanced Beacon Teacher Training to some teachers in RSU2 and the other
RISC Cohort Districts. During this training, teachers will gain more
instructional strategies to use to increase student learning.
On
December 17, 50 students in RSU2 will participate in a Student Leadership
Institute focused on improving our high schools. Rich DeLorenzo,
co-founder of the Reinventing Schools Coalition, will join students in
faciliatating this day to examine what is working well in our school and
